Medjool Dates

This gourmet fruit originated in Morroco and was carried by Moors to Sheiks and royalty accross North America and South Europe for centuries. Eleven offshots were imported into the United States in 1927 and they were the start of the entire US industry. Oasis Date Gardens, then called Laflin Date Gardens, received the first 24 offshots produced by those imported palms. We've been growing Medjools longer than anyone else now active in the industry, and we've devoted 45 years to perfecting the cultural practices which make our Medjools outstanding. All of our grades are large, juicy and delicious. Jumbo, select, large and confection simply refer to the size and appearance.
