Tilda Basmati Rice is known the world over as the prine of rice. It has travelled all the way from the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India, where the ideal growing conditions provide Basmati with its exquisitely unique flavour and aroma. (The word Basmati means "the fragrant one"). During cooking each grain elongates to nearly three times its original size. So elegant, delicious, and separate are the grains that Tilda Basmati can be enjoyed without the addition of salt, butter or oil.
